5 ESSENTIAL AREAS/ITEMS TO PROOF YOUR HOME

It’s critical to secure your TV and taller furniture to the wall. Plus, if you live in an earthquake-prone location, you should already be doing this!
COVERS FOR ELECTRICAL OUTLETS
Our outlets are quite flimsy. The standard safety outlet plugs would just fall out. If yours are a little loose, I recommend replacing your outlet plates with the type that replaces the complete plate and slides over.
HORIZONTAL WINDOW GUARD BARS
Windows aren’t usually thought of as dangerous, but they may be lethal when they’re on the second floor and low to the ground. It’s a requirement to ensure the safety of your house if your infant or toddler can reach the window with an Edge guard and corner guard for baby and you routinely leave it open. Yes, it’s an eyesore, but it’s worth the peace of mind if your multi-level home has lower windows. After all, curious babies are fast, and your gaze isn’t fixed on them 24 hours a day.
SAFETY LOCKS THAT CAN BE ADJUSTED
My favorite is the all-purpose safety lock. They are simple to use and connect to the exterior of the cabinet or drawer. The best part is that I can open them with one hand. What am I going to do with them? This lock is now installed on our pantry, bathroom cupboards, garage chemical cabinet, fireplace, and stoves. We’ve never had a near call with our oven before, but it’s simply too dangerous to take the chance. I’m usually cooking, so having a lock on the oven gives me peace of mind.
